Most loans in Puerto Rico are done at interest rates of 15%+

Puente offers better than market rates on <50% LTV loans, backed primarily by real estate.

Puente provides loans to individuals and businesses. We are quick, agile, and responsible professionals who want to help PR individuals and businesses by providing short and long-term loans at competitive rates.
Our usual terms are:
1. Loan principal or line of credit up to $5 million.
2. Monthly payments only of fixed interest at 10% of the principal.
3. Loan term up to 36 months
4. Collateral: Personal guarantee and/or some asset (usually real estate) free of charges and encumbrances that has a value of at least 100% of the value of the loan. That is 50% Loan to Value of the collateral.
5. The entity/person to whom the money is loaned covers the closing costs.
6. Contractual guarantees: Judgment by consent and Assignment of Leases, among others.
7. No prepayment penalty.
